Unable to stream videos in any of my browsers

I have trouble whatching videos, they load but it doesn’t play meaning all of the frames load i can navigate the frames as well but it wont play its just frozen.

I can use the internet like normal, but videos don’t load.

I had updated the sistem yesterday.

I have tried it in brave, google and firefox, all the same.

I also have tried to reset NetworkManager and flush my DNS cache.

On my windows it works whit out any trouble.

Can you post the output of top on console when watching videos ?

I can’t tell which hardware you’ve got and could only guess which Desktop Environment you’ve choosen.

A bit more context would be helpful, please check out how to include systemlogs in your post.

You haven’t installed any drivers associated to the nVidia GeForce 3050 mobile your system is equipped with. You’re just using the integrated graphics chipset of your Core i7-12650H.

Additionally, sadly this MSI Thin GF63 12UC Laptop isn’t listed in the MSI Laptop article of the Arch Wiki. But there shouldn’t be larger issues related to linux hardware support.

In short, you may want to install the nVidia drivers manually, as you’re using the LTS kernel, it should be nvidia-open-lts or nvidia-open-dkms.

For switching between the integrated graphics and the nVidia graphics, have a look at NVidia Optimus for some software that would support to switch modes, e.g. EnvyControl

Additionally, it can’t hurt to also install Vulkan as well.

Looks like everithing is back to normal.
I reintalled the drivers and it still didn’t work, then i left it for a couple of days. I have returned now everithing is ok.

Thanks for the help
