Wayland on KDE stopped working for me after an update, now it will just show black screen then my monitors just go to sleep for no signal, and only way to “recover” is holding down power button to shut down, as even trying to change console doesn’t work.
I have nvidia and all nvidia setup has been done for cmdline, etc.
Post contains nothing to help solve the issue. Take a look here on what you need to provide, and then someone may be able to help you.
is there a place I can look (specific logs, config files, etc) that can help me get you the info needed to help diagnose the issue?
Here is a pastebin for my specs, but beyond that, i have no clue where to start looking.

@lavavex, did you enable HDR for your display?
If you did, that would do it.
i did… ok, is there a way to reset the settings for this so i can get back into wayland kde? I’ve already tried wiping the .local/kscreen folder
Have a look at @joekamprad’s offered fix here:
there we go, fixed it. sweet, thanks! also @linesma it seems it was enough info to fix the issue…
Just lucky I have a shared experience of it
That’s not always the case though, particularly with novel issues.
