Unable to boot into ISO file

so when i go into my boot menu it shows two usb option one with uefi and one without it if i go boot using the one without uefi it gives this error “unable to load ldlinux.c32” and if i boot with the uefi one im able to get to the ventoy menu but when i click on iso the screen goes black and after 5 seconds takes me back to ventoy and if i use balena etcher instead of ventoy the uefi usb option doesnt even show up i have tried disabling cms and using a different usb drive but nothing works all other distro in ventoy boot fine except EOS and the iso is also not corrupted because it works fine in virtualbox even with efi disabled

man i dont wanna give up on endeavour os like this i really liked using it in a vm

I just did that using ventoy but what is suppose to happen it just told me to presss enter to exit and it seems like there were no error

I never used ventoy to do a checksum on the ISO so I have no clue as to it’s normal behavior.

You could try and maybe delete the iso and then re copy it over to the usb device again. You could try it on another usb and see if the issue persist.

The main issue I have run into with ventoy is people not keeping it updated. You have updated yours so unless you have secure boot or windows fastboot enabled I’m not sure.

After spending an entire day i fixed it by using balena etcher instead of ventoy and inserting usb into 3.0 port I’m now installing it can’t wait to use this new OS

Yeah, Ventoy is sometimes hit or miss for me, too.

fastboot is an windows OS option.

And there are many ways to create installer media:
