Ubuntu: The Rise and Fall of "Linux for Human Beings"

Me too !

In 2013, I had a small server with the horrible Unity interface that slowed it down considerably, I switched to Archlinux and SSH. Since then, it’s Arch, Archlinuxarm and Endeavouros for my work laptop

When they introduced Unity, I moved to Mint then Manjaro and now Endeavour. No longer a fan, but Ubuntu will always be my first Linux distro

Yes, i said one day that Ubuntu was my driving school (auto-école in french), simply lean the linux basics

Well Ubuntu / Canonical is exceptionally good at the stuff and the target group they aim for.
But I would claim that the target audience has changed significantly over the last 20 years.
