Maybe your fellow countrymen can help?
Iām assuming you figured this out, but I found that it helps to run the Welcome app and check what it ālooks likeā there.
Helps with getting the context right.
Yeah, I tried and ran the command given in the ātutorialā, but I just kept getting part of the text in terminal.
I still have some way to learn how to maximize my workflow
Not to mention Klingon

I run the Welcome app like this, to get a preview of what everything looks like in the current translation:
eos-welcome --lang=rs
and switching between English and the language Iām translating into to get a feel of how well the translation represents the original meaning.
I did that in terminal, but the Welcome app didnāt start, just gave me the option to open permanently or once in the terminal.
Anyway⦠saw it today, and saw some places where I can make better translation
Yeah, you can use command
eos-welcome --once --lang=is
to see the translation in action, even if you disabled welcome.
I also offer to translate the applications that Endeavor has into Spanish from Spain and thus have the distro completely in Spanish.
Tell me what I should do.
Greetings
Welcome and thanks for the offer!
The Spanish translation does need some work, but fortunately most is already done. You could add the missing translations by comparing the English and Spanish translation files. And if you find any translation issues with the existing translation strings, feel free to correct them.
See this link: https://discovery.endeavouros.com/endeavouros-tools/welcome, and look for chapter Note for the translators.
The Spanish translation file is already in your system too, file
/usr/share/endeavouros/scripts/translation-es.bash
After finishing your additions, you can do a pull request at github. Alternatively you can send me the translation file as a PM here.
Looking forward to to hearing from you! Please do not hesitate to ask if anything is not clear.
Thank you Manuel, very kind, I will do it that way.

Hi, Manuel ā¦
The Wellcome application is fully translated⦠I was also referring to the other apps⦠eos-apps-info, eos log tool⦠etc.
What file would I have to translate in those applications?
So far we havenāt added translation support for the other apps. Seems that most users are OK with that.
Iām not saying we will not do it, but currently we donāt have plans for implementing it.
Hello Manuelā¦ok, thatās correct, itās something I donāt understandā¦but I respect itā¦since it is a distro for everyoneā¦those who donāt know Englishā¦what do they do with those applications?..because the logical thing would be Anyone who doesnāt know English should simply uninstall itā¦or not install it when installing.
Well understood then.
Thank you
