Too many changes

Ok, since 6.11 kernel came out, my desktop kept getting state changes beaconing every 3 seconds for wlan connectivity. Most distressing to have that much log activity, though everything was functional. I resorted to running LTS kernel to keep quieter
Yesterday, being bored, I updated my BIOS (first time in six months due to it just wouldn’t flash last time I tried). I also tried to update my router firmware and I made a stupid goof, resulting in hours of non-connectivity (thinking it was an upstream problem). I finally plugged in something directly to the fiber modem and had internet. Whoops, ok, so factory reset on the router…flailing trying to get the smart devices in the home working again, etc…and hours later…seemed successful.
I checked this morning and the wlan is no longer screaming on the current kernel. Now, I wonder, was it the bios update or the wireless router reconfig ? I guess I just be glad it’s all working now.
Maybe a quiet day today?

No :crystal_ball: here. Glad you got it working.

Yeah, though I’m now wishing I had done it in three phases so I could learn by it…but having no Internet was a bit distracting.
