Hey, I created the USB with Rufus and selected DD mode. Rufus finished without any errors, and I also checked the SHA512 checksum, which matches.

I used the same method as I did for the March release.

When I try to boot from the USB, I get this error:

../systemd/src/boot/boot.c:3044@call_image_start: Error preparing initrd: Device error

After that, EndeavourOS doesn’t start and I’m back in Windows.

No idea what DD is but Ventoy makes things a lot easier to install distros, imo.

Got EndeavourOS installed now and everything is working fine.

I just get this warning when booting

EFI stub: WARNING: Unable to unprotect memory range […]

That seems to be a BIOS bug , I had the same message and after a BIOS update it was gone.

you tried different USB port? or another USB stick?

Rufus is not the first thing i would recommend to use to create USB installer media.

Just tested to boot with a rufus created usb stick, with no such issue .
