Thinclient HP nach Update "schwarzer Bildschirm"

Moin nochmal

Habe nach 3 Wochen Urlaub meinen HP Thinclient mit 8GB Disk upgedated. Das lief durch, aber nach dem Reboot kommt nach dem üblichen durchlaufen der Messages ein schwarzer Screen. Also der Monitor wird angesteuert (Led grün), aber kein Inhalt. Terminal mit STRG-ALT F2 geht und nochmal nach Updates suchen ergibt alles ist aktuell. Disk hat noch 1 GB frei… Dachte erst die ist voll gelaufen.

Ne Idee?

Interessant ist, das teilweise der Desktop kurz zu sehen ist, dann aber wieder verschwindet…

Ja, brennt grad nicht. Muss grad einen Schwung Debian Systeme im RZ von 11 auf den Bücherwurm bringen… Hätte den Thinclient ja auch platt machen können, aber der Grund ist ja vielleicht auch für andere mal interessant. Von daher… BTW, so sieht das Ding aus.

Ich sehe in den logs keinen wirklichen Hinweis … was so aussieht als,ob nicht GPU und Treiber oder Xorg das problem verursacht sondern eher DM oder Desktop selbst.

Ja, merkwürdig oder? Kann ich morgen früh ausprobieren. Hatte vorher irgendein Debian Derivat da drauf, was aber irgendwann mit den 8GB nicht mehr klar kam. Was aber eigentlich die Domäne kleiner Desktops sein sollte, nur regelmäßig Updates installieren sollte man da lassen. Und bisher lief EOS ohne Probleme…Wurde also nicht immer fetter…

Du weisst ja … geht immer weiter ab zu tauchen und den Grund zu finden, das ist entweder ein funktionierender Workaroiund oder der 4 Schritt in der Problem Identifizierung :wink:

Das ist also ein framebuffer Treiber sieht aus also lxdm es nicht schaffte den AMDGPU Treiber zu laden und dann auf framebuffer zurück gefallen ist was ebenfalls nicht klappte weil die lib fehlte…
