The screen has started to dim itself on a PC (even while I type or read emails). If i switch to a different window the screen goes back to normal brightness. How to turn this off?

This started happening after a system update some time ago.

I use qtile (without xfce4), but I also have xfce4 installed on the system.
intel motherboard gpu.
