The Linux Experiment Is Hilarious 🤣

Watch from the beginning until 07:30 to get the full impact of the joke.
Or skip to it — less funny. Your choice.

Same. At least, not yet. Maybe another 4 years or 8. Who knows?

I have never understood why people enjoy videos that do that. Quickest way to make me tune out.

Do what? Meaning the aspect ratio?

the nuts and bolts of the matter came about 2:50 about how you exactly make the Frankenstein thing and then his tongue was firmly planted in cheek and never got the impression he took this elaborate setup seriously but I am impressed he grasped it all-I sure didn’t.
I watched every second til 7:30…I suggest people watch til 8:15. He re-educates the engineers :)! The A and the B partitions indeed…I got the punchline…it was on Vanilla.

This was less about immutable and more about design flaws.
That said immutable ain’t my thing either.

The absurd part of this is no one in the linux community has even attempted to convince me to put all our faith in flatpaks while a team only maintains/curates the core. They just asked us to accept this premise as the future. At least lemme listen to the pitch…

I don’t understand what’s the joke/problem.

Okay, I got it now. Lol.

vanilla OS never worked for me

No, the part at 7:30 where he’s talking about 1 thing and the video is of some weird, annoying 3d racing type “game” that is in no way related to the subject.

Oh, I get it.

Gen Z and Alpha grew up with a digital device in their hands. This is how you keep their attention. Do something “fun” in the background.

Well,
I just keep the “Because I’m French and coward ness is a tradition for us” as the most hilarious statement
