No. What do topics have to do with the technical means?
Every group big enough to socialize regularly eventually branches out into different topics beyond their original purpose. That’s why there’s a “pub” - or “offtopic” for the old-schoolers.
Some people may even organize to meet in person. It’s fine.
It’s also important that one doesn’t bleed into the other though. Tech discussions can’t become the pub within three postings. Good luck moderators. o7
I think that the signup captcha just isn’t working and we’re getting bots.
Bots seem to be having an easier time with captcha than people these days actually, I’ve had some instances where sites insist i’m a bot and I can’t access them because apparently I ticked the “i’m not a robot” box wrong somehow.

That, or humans are signing up and selling their accounts. I’ve seen some other discourse forums that use this software just flooded with crap posts that are off topic.

I use daily telegram and matrix and mastodon for my daily news and rss reader on my phone… dont live on the forum that much anymore… but i do like matrix because opensource and decentral in nature… a distro can make a own server as example as for mastodon is the same xd… but helps general in linuw world is very spreaded… like lot on facebook and reddit too. On lemmy not see but stil a lemmy noob lol

My opinion: this is a great forum ,simple good and provides much help ,special for old-scool users like me for example (am sure there are more)
I mean, yes, but… The main problem here is that we should get many, many more Linux Ladies interested in Linux and EndeavourOS first.[1]
Then we can think of starting a dating corner in the EndeavourOS Pub!

Ah, I would not sign this.
In my family are four ladies using EOS as their daily driver and they love it. They love the purple, the wallpapers (cheers to @UncleSpellbinder!), the speed etc.
