Since last 5 days, my system is not permitting sudo pacman -SyyU for updates on any terminal. Only from welcome app updates are permitted that too with root privileges. Tried on XFCE4 and LX Terminals.
Both behave similarly . sudo for updates is not working. I have been using sudo for updates on terminal - for more than 5 months before formatting and re installing OS 5 days ago.
Even the raw system just after installation before connecting to internet for updates was not letting me use sudo on terminal for updates. It produces an error saying “One operation at a time”.
Only Packages can be installed with sudo permissions using yay on terminal.
The proper command should be
sudo pacman -Syyu
It is case sensitive, if this fails try updating your mirrors
