Hello,
This is my first time posting on any sort of Linux community platform so I apologize if I break any rules or if this is not the correct place for my topic. Any advice or suggestions is welcomed regarding posting guidelines or if seeking help on Telegram/Discord/Reddit/etc. is more appropriate. The eOS install on my 2018 MacBook Pro had been running without issue until last week. When I try to boot my eOS partition everything goes as expected until the “Welcome to EndeavourOS” message during boot. After hanging for 90s or so a message saying “failed to start up manager…freezing” or “failed to fork off sandboxing environment for executing generators…freezing” appears and I cannot continue. I have chrooted without issue into the system and ensured packages, fstab, etc. are correct and updated. I have also tried downgrading kernel, switching to LTS kernel, and downgrading systemd. I am not very familiar with using journalctl but when I try to look at journal entries regarding booting with ‘journalctl -b’ the only thing returned is “no entries”
Please let me know what logs I should look for or if any additional information is needed on my part. Thank you
