I’m ready for all the rain I can get. Been one of the driest summers I’ve ever been through, with only one significant thunderstorm and almost zero effect from the normal monsoon season coming up from Baja California.
It’s going to be bad in various places on the globe. Exactly where and when is still a question that is probably to far out to be able to answer yet.

1877 was a different time when it comes to fertilization, food storage, transportation etc., so imho past outcomes should not be extrapolated to today. But prices for agricultural products will go up again in the next 12 months around the world, and it will hit some more than others.
What’s more infuriating: Climate change is hard and now a long term problem. Some other factors contributing to global food shortage could be fixed much quicker if some people would get their ego together.*
*That escalated quickly. 
Nothing to do with war against climate, or how its called, tho.
