Sudo password incorrect within dwm

I just did a fresh install of endeavourOS without a desktop environment. Then, I fallowed this tutorial to a T.

dwm installed ok, but when i open a terminal within dwm and do a sudo command, it says i typed to password wrong.

when it asks for my password in the tty before it works fine. only within dwm it doesnt work.

Are you using the same keyboard mapping? Test the output of the special characters (in a context where you can see the output).
