Sudden input issues

im relatively new to linux, this is the first distro ive used.

i leave my PC for a bit and come back to no keyboard inputs working, aside spacebar wich opens krunner. i can type in that normally aside space, and seeminly same with most kde applications. however other thinks (like konsole) are just not registering inputs

i tried to use the fallback option i get when rebooting, but the arrow keys just seemed to stop the boot and hang there.

also extremely oddly, when i try to do things in other apps (like discord) instrad of opening the thing in the app it tries to save a file

i really domt know whars going on here and this is a bit of an SOS (im here on my phone)

any hwlp is appreciated, thanks

Is it a USB keyboard, if so try unplugging it and plugging it in again.

tried that to no effect, also tried a second keyboard in a different port to the same issue

i think its something software level

What is the output of lsusb ?

update on this. it would seem a ll i had to do was leave it sitting overnight, as i work up to the issue gone.
i have NO idea what it may have been or what caused it but considering im typing this on my PC now everything seems in order
