Stuck at csgo caused by libx11

I use a lattop to play csgo. r5 4600u + 16G RAM(4G for integrated graphics card). low video quality. it is enough for me. 80+fps, 70 ping

after recently a few updates, things go wrong in csgo. fps only 30, and it will get suck always. ping, loss, choke are still fine. I check BIOS setup the UMA buffer size is still 4G. Then I think maybe it’s update, but I update always which means I have no idea which pkg got problem.

I choose kernel to do that. I change linux-lts(5.15.83-1) into stable(6.0.12.arch1-1) . Thing get better. no suck. and fps upto 70. enough to play.

hardware

all driver and bios are latest(checked in win11)

I had issues with cs:go lately as well. The game freezes when I do not move the mouse.
The issue was caused by a recent update of libx11 (upgraded libx11 (1.8.2-2 → 1.8.3-1). Donwgrading to version 1.8.2-2 solved the issue for me. Just this morning we received another update to 1.8.3-3. But I dont know if that fixes it as well.

In the meantime I moved to the flatpak version of steam. That does not have an issue.

I turn kernel back to lts-5.15. it was fixed :grinning:
