Strange message after software installation via AUR

I installed Surfshark via AUR and got this warning, it has never happened to me until now. Do I need to worry?

warning: directory permissions differ on /etc/
filesystem: 755 package: 777
warning: directory permissions differ on /usr/

warning: directory permissions differ on /var/

That is an issue with that package. It should probably be reported to the maintainer.

I wrote a comment on the AUR page, will see if it can be solved

How did you install it?

yay with sudo can cause such errors

yay -S --noconfirm surfshark-gui-bin

I never install AUR packages with sudo (as is suggested)

Don’t use --noconfirm you will miss important prompts and sometimes your commands won’t work or will do the wrong thing.

sudo is not necessary with yay, it will ask when the password is needed.
