So the latest stats are.. interesting.. Barely 2% of Steam users run Linux. It’ll be interesting to see how that shifts as Steam releases their hardware later this year and into 2027.
Coupled with Microsoft’s latest call to arms, it’s going to take a lot to shift the behemoth. Either way, I continue to be stunned by just how good Proton/VK3D is at running 99% of games on Steam.
