Startup Optimization

I’m not saying my bootup is slow, I’m just saying this: I don’t want to look at Endeavour 0S’s [ OK ] screens so maybe it can be overlayed with some sort of loading screen? This is NOT urgent at all. any answers are welcome, even if you aren’t sure.

---------UPDATE-----------
i didnt break my pc! But it just gave me blue error messages and no plymouth. My /etc/plymouth/plymouthd.conf:

[Theme]
Theme=Brgt

The dracut method on the Arch Wiki doesnt say anything about hooks or anything. I did read evrything correctly

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Plymouth

I have dracut installed but want to set plymouth theme, I need mkinitcpio but it says I have to uninstall kernel-install-dracut. is this safe to do?

  1. Read
  2. Do

There’s a section for dracut

sorry I didn’t notice

Please, do read everything before you actually attempt it. We wouldn’t want your next topic to be titled:

Can’t boot EndeavourOS after installing Plymouth

:rofl:
