I reinstalled EOS (XFCE) and everything works well. One thing that I noticed: with firewalld I see spinning wait cursor for about 5-10 seconds. Is it normal for this firewall? If I understand correctly, the system is waiting, when it start. Do I need to configure something?
It isn’t the firewall itself. It is the tray icon. It happens on gtk DEs.
You can disable the tray icon to avoid it if you would like. The tray icon has no impact on the functioning of the firewall.
