Spectacle - if window left open uses a lot of the cpu

Dunno exactly, took a screenshot about missing notifications, then went back to watching the rugby (or footie as our antipodean cousins call it).

20 - 30 minutes, I guess, then my fans started to spin up.

FYI Canberra Raiders vs Brisbane Broncos, Raiders are thumping the Broncos.

Yeah, I just kept Spectacle open for about an hour and a half. Minimal cpu and mem usage.

Probably system specific then?
It’s best you report this upstream with your system specs included…

I had SIMILAR issues with Spectacle, it was a small part of the reason why I switched to Ksnip (the main reason being ksnip’s ability to do minor post-capture editing without exporting to another program).
