In general terms, I currently only see the following 3 as alternatives.
FFaudioConverter (my prefered one, fast simple) GitHub
SoundConverter (the original GTK one which was the inspiration for the qt one)
fre:ac / freac (for my requirements… to bloat ^^, but an good old one. Hopefully it will be developed in the future)

Not sure if ciano
would cut it for you. I haven’t used it for a very long time so I couldn’t provide a “current user experience”. Anyways, it is in the repos.
A multimedia file converter focused on simplicity.
Yeah, I have found it. But it’s TOO simple. And buggy for me.
The files I want to convert are not shown.
No drag’n’drop ^^
And its not possible to configure the encoders/decoders.

As I said, soundconverter gtk works just fine in KDE.
is listed in my solution. my personal preferation is, not to mix gtk and qt. I found gtk ugly ^^ and often to simple. sorry not sorry

There is a video/audio converter in the AUR called mystiq. It’s a GUI front end for ffmpeg based on Qt5. It may be more than some people need but it’s a nice app and a good all in one solution.

like “FFaudioConverter” but much more configure options… I like it!
Hopefully it gets ported to qt6
