In Tint2, my sound icon is too dark to see in the tray but, I know it is there by hovering over the area which sits between the touchpad indicator and network icon. I dont know what to call it other than the pulseaudio icon. I probably can get it to show by changing the wallpaper background but I dont want to do that. Is there a file that I can edit to make it show the white gnome or other lighter icon? Please see screenshot for what I am describing. Thanks!
Is there a dark version of whatever icon set you are using?
Yes, there is Breeze, Papirus, Mate-Faenza, and Tela-circle-blue dark.
Try using a dark variant. When I switched to a light theme, I had to switch to a light variant of my iconset.
Well, that does not work. By the way, I am running openbox window manager. Any other ideas?
Did you try rebooting? In Plasma, icons will occasionally not update properly until you clear the icon cache which you can do by rebooting. It’s a long shot, but I don’t know openbox at all so it’s all I’ve got.
Maybe this arch wiki might be of some help ?
