So I recently was given an old laptop that no one knows where it came from. It didn’t have a charger and it not much of a machine. 4 gigs of ram and 1.8 ghz processor (intel i3) with intel graphics.

I have run into an few interesting issues with it and one that is really baffling me is my weather conky. It just does not show up in the right area. It shows up on the right side but its way from the corner where its supposed to be. I have modified the conky several different times and the results are always the same. The logs seem to be shy in showing any issue. I have also had all my conky’s except the weather just disappear. whenever I try to recreate the disappearing act I cant do it it just seems to happen out of the blue.
I was working on the battery conky when I noticed this and even after reboots the weather conky goes back to the same spot.
I’ve tried several alignment options and they all seem to keep me in the same area. On my other laptop everything is where its supposed to be as well as with my desktop.
