This one instantly reminded me of Lord of the Rings and I believe The Hobbit also had a forbidden forest. Yes, In The Hobbit, Radagast lived in a forest and protected the animals.

I haven’t seen it, the reminder is from my imagination when reading the book.
I wish I could remember the book, I only remember reading it because I tried lord of the rings (hated it - too many words) but loved the hobbit. Maybe I should look at getting the book again then
