Since I last updated my system, default system icons look like shit ugly. I had to downgrade eos-qogir-icons (2025.02.15-3 → 6-1). I guess, besides of updating, there should be a manual intervention?
Well you could try this
That is if you really liked the icons before the update, otherwise maybe just try another full icon set. As a sidenote a update might add some icons that where not there before the update.

That was the reason for the update.
As @keescase was saying, you can ignore updates to that package in
/etc/pacman.conf
by setting
IgnorePkg = eos-qogir-icons
But if you wish to have changes to the icons, you could report the problem to
https://github.com/vinceliuice/Qogir-icon-theme.
Even though Qogir added icons, it should not change existent icons, but (at most) update theme. Anyhow, I solved it.
After the update, the icon theme is set for some reason to another set (HighContrast, in my case). I had simply to set it to Qogir, that is, manual intervention.
I faced the same problem on another system. For some reason, the update changes the icon theme setting in Gnome Tweaks.
