An orphaned AUR package means that there is currently nobody maintaining it. It is not broken, it is more of a red flag to keep an eye on it and ensure nobody malicious picks it up and warn you that nobody is updating it.
In many cases, you should first check if you need it and remove it if you don’t.
It looks like it was dropped to AUR from the repos. It is normal in that scenario.
You can clear the cache however you personally prefer but it won’t impact this issue either way. That just removes old package files.
