[SOLVED] Is libsoup safe to remove?

I have used both. They both work fine.

I prefer protonup-qt but they both do the same thing in slightly different ways.

On the other hand, protonplus is maybe a little easier to use if you aren’t familiar with how proton works.

They are both fairly easy to use though.

In the meantime, I filed a detailed issue at GloriousEggroll’s proton-ge-custom GitHub…

I believe it was your suggestion originally; been happy ever since.

Yer nice, I’ll have to give it a shot tomorrow, I rarely need these tools but when I do they sure are handy

I’d recommend closing that issue on GitHub @UncleSpellbinder. This is not a GloriousEggroll issue, it’s an AUR packaging issue and not a breaking one.

It isn’t their fault. It is a chaotic-aur issue that I am sure will be fixed in time.

I marked @dalto’s post as a solution. Though this was a team effort, and you ALL are the solution.

I LOVE THIS FORUM. :enos: :enos_flag:

Done. Issue is closed. I even left the reason as to why. If anyone there feels a need to reopen it, that’s on them.

threads like this remind me (as if I needed reminding) how much I love this place
