It’s close to an error in another post, but that fix didn’t fix this.
Error: configuration ‘eos-run-cmd-with-su’ for EOS_ROOTER in file /etc/eos-script-lib-yad.conf is not supported!

That’s VERY vague.
Please post the output of whatever you were doing in terminal and post it up. OR, same thing and send tothe eos-log.
sry about that, im usually more precise.
I clicked on update system in the welcome menu
How did you get that error. To open welcome from terminal is eos-welcome
Cool - please open a terminal and provide the output for pacman -Syu
including errors****
It opens from terminal fine, but clicking update system in the menu gives that error
it seems it does it when clicking update mirrors, configure eos-update-notifier and others as well
[major@someplace ~]$ sudo pacman -Syu
[sudo] password for me:
:: Synchronizing package databases…
core is up to date

multilib is up to date
endeavouros is up to date

there is nothing to do

@manuel - is this some sort of issue with the Welcome app??
@MrEd - That’s good, it looks good, albeit interesting - you’re up to date - everything looks as it should - I would suspect it’s something with the welcome app - give it until tomorrow manuel is across the pond and probably asleep. But you’re more than safe to move about your comptuer for the time being. Cheers*
That’s cool, however the reason I even said anything was because it does it on one machine and not another
I’m sure we’ll know more in the morning. It doesn’t seem major though. The welcome app is helpful - not critical. I don’t know exactly what that is though, and all things welcome app it’s easier to let the creator answer.
Yeah that’s fine, no biggie, just want to say at this opportunity,
the welcome program is really nice and helpful for ease of use.
I tested mine and is fine. If it’s on one machine there must be an issue with some package? Were you able to do a mirror update and see if you got any updates after?
Try to reinstall yad-eos
package.
sudo pacman -S yad-eos
I don’t see that on my system?
Sorry, I misspelled it.

The message says your configuration file /etc/eos-script-lib-yad.conf
has an unsupported value in variable EOS_ROOTER.
Could you show the URL returned by command
cat /etc/eos-script-lib-yad.conf | eos-sendlog
