[SOLVED] Fresh KDE Online install, a few questions

Just remember when you create the partitions manually you have to select the type of file system for each. So just make sure it’s properly selected when you create the partition which normally is ext4. But for swap you want Linux swap. As you create each partition in gparted you can select manage flags in the menu. This allows you to set a flag for each type of partition. You can also label a partition which is different. The flags mark it for it’s purpose. I use it if I am doing manual partitioning. I think you just overlooked the box when you created your swap partition and it was formatted to ext4 when it’s not supposed to be formatted but marked linux swap. It’s no big deal as you see it’s an easy fix and you learn something.
