They won’t be installed, just sitting in cache somewhere. The location it uses is probably in it’s settings somewhere but I haven’t used it in a long time.
Its default build directory is in /tmp, so whatever is in there will not survive a reboot?
Ah, OK, phew, at least I did not screw up my system.

Yep! And I just want to add to my last comment that installation via yay literally took less than 5 mins.!! Unbelievable, compared with the Add/Remove Software route.
This is a very important thing to know.
Err…it is highly unlikely you built a browser in 5 minutes. Are you sure you don’t have chaotic-aur in /etc/pacman.conf
still?
