For now is a bit solved disk is stil 80procent full i think there is stil to find stuf as sgs command above, but for now look if you can save stuf on usb if there is a issue, you can make other topic on that if doesn’t do.

There is lot files stored probably music but you must keep a eye on it home tend to growht faster keeping arounf 70procent to 80 is ok

Perhaps a gui disk usage analyzer application, such as baobab (or filelight for KDE) would be useful here.

Yeah can be usefull indeed. Im not a really a terminal monster but some commands can be handy when you must chroot:+1:

@ringo, as you know i’m not an expert … so maybe i did wrong when the partition … (30GB) or maybe i was suppose to create a /home partition for music and videos (but i was not sure how to do it).

Look now after removing more music from the files …

Cannot tel te setup generaly…

My situation is also different… i got a overkill on space as my root drive 8procent in use… and a 500gb home drive. It is always possible to move home to another drive offcourse is always cautions must do ut right also.
My personal is different then the others offcourse when you use aur make sure you clean aur build packages with yay -Scc , one side is better to stay but other side it space… try not over the border 90 procent in use,… it can come fast later on

It looks good now just keep an eye when on music games etc , you can always take a 1tb external drive and save it… always handy to take with you to friends

I never ever keep my collection of music, video’s, pictures, important documents on the same drive as OS, Home folder. The collection goes on mechanical HD’s that are disconnected when not in use. My OS & Home are on same drive (SSD). Only things I keep in Home are what I call trinket’s I would use a lot, if they become important I move them out.

I’m glad everything is ok now.
