For those who who have nvme drives there is a package in Arch in the community repo called nvme-cli or nvme-cli-git in the AUR. This package contains some extra user space NVMe tools which may be of some interest.

i do not see much on what the cli tool is able to do for you …
It doesn’t do much but i thought it was interesting they have a tool for it? 
Actually - one of its main uses has been overtaken by events! I used it for SMART reporting of temps etc. (for conky) - but now sensors picks that up for me - so nvme get left lonely and unused
