Sleep or hibernate not working

Hello

I can’t put pc to sleep or in hibernate. When I put it to sleep

sudo systemctl suspend

the pc shuts down and need to power it on with power button and it’s like a reboot. i tried switching between deep and s2idle and nothing works. I disabled the 10G nic and nothing helps.

I have set swap for hibernate on install and it does not work, the pc shuts down and turn it self back on in 1s and it’s the same as sleep when I login it’s like a reboot.

I don’t have nvidia here, and maybe there is some other problem…
But I have had a similar problems here in the past, maybe it is of some help:
For hibernate and restart from it, you should give resume=UUID=YOUR-SWAP-UUID in the kernel-bootline for a test. That helped me to make it work.
When I rebooted the machine then, it reloaded the last workingset.
