What you have written has confirmed my view that nowadays the trend is that design is everything and content is nothing.

I stayed in the shallow end of the pool for a couple of years–Mint, Zorin, MX, Lite, etc. But I’m a distro hopper and I was running out of challenges so I tried Manjaro, and I didn’t hate it. In fact it was pretty cool. Then I hopped to EOS. Now I’m stuck. I don’t hop anymore. EOS is just too easy to use & maintain. It’s also quite snappy on mediocre hardware. I can’t bring myself to scrub that partition! EOS absolutely deserves to be in the top 5.
