luckyfy i have snapshot created by timeshift and i can restore to previous state via timeshift yesterday.
I donât know whatâs going on. . . maybe someone can help me. I havenât a clue about my build in wifi wlan chipset on my MSI motherboard. I reinstalled EndeavourOS from scratch and the latest kernel 6.6-5 arch 1-1 was installed from the start after finishing the installation. I had the same problem with shutdown . . . the terminal line code stopped at wpa_supplicant and network manager and started the clock trying to shut down the system to no avail. So I installed LTS 6.1.66 and same problem the terminal line code stated that the kernel was not tainted. After 6 minutes the system went to power off mode and then just sat there once again waiting for wpa-supplicant and networkmanager to shut down.
Any help would be appreciated.

This option didnât work for me - the system just stopped loading ![]()
I can revert to previous state because previously i have install and create automated snapshot using timeshift.
Well, thatâs what I did. Rolled back a couple of days ago, excluded linux-headers and linux from updates, and updated everything else.
try the downgrade command
I did try the downgrade option. . . .it didnât work. . . Something I probably didnât do right.
Recently i have monitored gitlab arch linux fix incoming on linux-lts
I fired up two of my laptops using wireless wpa and it hung on shutdown, rolled back the kernel to the previous and everything worked as expected.
The new kernel fixed the problems. At least on my machine.
