Is it just me, or is the escape key higher than the other ones?

yeah, most resin keycaps are actually…
Guess they need some space for all the stuff the put inside…
Doesn’t bother me though, since it’s an escape key

They say 16 Tb there, but i think actually it’s max 10 Tb per drive…
Well, now i have only 4 Tb drives, but who knows what future holds…

Probably extremely pricey hard drives

@dodgypast have way more space on his drives though

P.S. And it’s 5x btw :upside_down_face:

Do you know how many pictures of cats are on the internet? :joy_cat:

I did not know that a magnetic field created a vacuum!
However I did study physics pre Stephen Hawking!

What a great idea to enclose HDD with magnets !
Let’s hope the vacuum is sucking the field away…

Doesn’t it need strong magnets to damage or influence a hard disk drive?

They use rare earth magnets INSIDE of the HDD enclosure to position the heads over the desired track. If one has taken apart a HDD and played with these magnets, it would be very apparent how strong they are. Yet they do not affect the data.

I have also seen servers that have several HDD stacked up, each with rare earth magnets, with very little space in between. Again, doesn’t affect the data.

New water cooler for my gaming-rig, a Be Quiet! Silent Loop 2 360. The pump on my old Corsair H100i V2 decided to give up the ghost. I am really impressed with the performance and how quiet the new one is compared to the old one. While encoding a video, the CPU was at 100%. With the room at 32 C, the CPU maxed out at 78C and was 42C at idle. Time to do some cable management and put everything back together.

I apologize for taking so long to answer this question. And still there is no really high-quality photo of my bike yet. So far, I can only show this photo, and our “severe” weather :slightly_smiling_face:

Love the bike and the whole setup. Hope it takes you on some great rides.

My bike got stolen a couple of months ago, still no news from the police and I expect nothing will come of it.
Even got security footage of the guy running down 12 flights of stairs with it.

Thanks!
My wife and I are quite active on bicycles. But not always as much as we want - this year the weather is quite strange for us, a lot of rainy days…

I’m sorry to hear that. And I fully understand your regret about this. I hope that the problem will be solved, or you will buy a new, even better, bike :bike: :+1:
