No, it’s my old one. It runs RPi OS with pi-hole. My DNS server.
Maybe something like that to match it all?
I just put the sticker loose on the box. I have to buy more. Only got two of them. I’d like them to be a little smaller in size.
I have a small fan in so no problem with heat.
Replaced my ThinkPad E580’s non-backlit Azerty keyboard with a back-lit US qwerty one.
I found out Lenovo has three suppliers of keyboards, Primax, LiteOn and Chicony.
The old one was made by Chicony, so this time I opted for one made by LiteOn.
I’m glad to say I don’t regret my decision!
I’ve been using the EurKey layout for a while now instead of Belgian Azerty, so I was gonna swap it either way
(also I never was really fond of the typing experience on the original one. I always found it feeling a bit mushy)
The new one has a much better tactile feedback, and the keys have a more textured surface, so it might take a while longer to develop those inevitable glossy keys.
The E580 always was the black sheep of the collection here, mainly because of the keyboard, I’m certain this will change now
I saw the picture at first and thought that was a single uninterrupted keyboard…was like WTF KINDA KEYBOARD IS THAT!!!
Then I looked closer…OOOOOOHHHHH…
Same. I was jealous for a moment, then disappointed that it doesn’t exist…
This is what you call an extended keyboard!
Bringing to mind the meme of 1000 monkeys on 1000 keyboards here That’s how Windows got coded right?
It does not matter how the topic in question, there is always room for learning
I just bought an EP from The Bloodstrings!
I know a lot of people don’t buy music today, but I do!
Edit:
I bought a domain name yesterday too. Haven’t had time to do anything with it yet.
Hopefully, this is the last money I’ll spend for a looooooong while:

Yeah, Win 10 didn’t last very long on it – a whole 3 hours.
It’s a bit shaky picture, but you can see what it is.
Hope the purchase was okay and you will have many years together!
Fixed that for you.
What’s EndeavourOS/Arch like on the Pinebook Pro compared to Manjaro? I’m considering a switch.
night & day… I no bad manjaro ! it good for what it is , you replace Manjaro with Endeavour (basically Arch with some great tools ) you never go back . try on sd card and see that the beauty of PBP
Ram kit was out of stock due to the shop’s discount week and didn’t want to overpay to two single sticks. Will be ordering online.
I had the store check if components ran correctly and they did, also had the bios update done meanwhile. Can’t wait to put this bad girl into the case
That’s three hours too long!
That’s about how long it takes to prepare a EndevourOS live USB on a windows machine (with slow internet).
Nice Board & Processor. I have a B550 MSI Tomahawk sitting here waiting for parts. I plan on using the WD SN850 m.2 drives and an AMD RX 6700XT Sapphire Nitro with 32 GB memory. Probably going to use a Ryzen 7 3700X 65 Watt processor 8 core 16 Thread.
I was torn between 3700x and 5600x as well, shop discount made the decision easier + i don’t have the use case for +2c since i’m not going to compile code. Waiting on nvme and ram kit delivery. I decided to get Crucial p5 500GB it has better sequential speeds within its price range and 2x Gskill 8gb 3600MHz CL18 ram kit.
The Crucial P5 is a good choice, less than 5s to open EndeavourOS !
