Technically, it’s not new. But thrown together with some spare parts.
Big 220mm fan I bought years ago. Mostly due to it’s size for relatively little money. Without an actual need for it. Sacrificed an old 12V PSU, wired it up directly. A pair of nuts and bolts as well as some random brackets. And now convection will do it’s thing, better than nothing. Wouldn’t make much sense to purchase some vents currently as the demand & sales went up significantly. So this is definitely better than nothing
And less than 3.5 Watts of power draw (theoretically) should be negligible.
One of the glorious ones! I bought far too many classics on Blu-ray in the last few months… and all those 60s and 70s movies seem to be the most crunchy ones ![]()
Nice one ![]()
It’s worth that for the soundtrack alone.
Yer I loved these games, the stories, the music, the exploration and the bugs (some of my favourite bits at times) and then the mods. Going to play Nehrim after it.
Nice I have often thought about getting a printer like this, would save me a lot in the end on my gifts for others as I often make something in GIMP etc and will get it printed on a shirt or similar.
Unless you do a lot of printing it is not worth getting one. The maintenance alone is a pain in the rear because the white ink in both printers likes to clog and the materials are spendy.
Luckily I picked up both printers used for a nice price since they were “broke”. One needed a new head, motherboard, and cables because the ink shorted out the 42v supply. Epson made the great parts security decision to place the 42v and grounds next to each other in a ribbon cable. The other one had poor to almost no-existent documentation and the last owner gave up.
To top it off I have to use Windows for the rip software and the Epson software for tuning and maintaining the machines. If I could figure out how to get the USB hardware key to read in Wine I could possibly do it that way. Then I would have absolutely no Windows machines in the house.
PM me and I might be able to send you some prints. I ship out orders all the time.
Cool, next time I’m doing something I will try remember
Hey bud, while having a few beers lastnight at your place, it seems I left a SSD behind. It seems you have found it. ![]()
