I see, so you use those 5 W  :circus_tent: exclusively for most annoying sounds then, like PC beeper or

I mainly use the Yamaha amplifier :loudspeaker: and the Quadral :loud_sound: to provide sound for my neighborhood

5w are enough for a bit of Radio in the Morning

Does that also come with free beers? :beers:

Rather not. Some do headbanging, some want to beat me up

Not everything is so clear
Most recently, I sold my Exposure 2010+Triangle Titus 202 and now have “speaker systems” with a power of as much as 4 watts instead. However, these kids even reproduce the contrabass, albeit lightly :upside_down_face:

I bought this cheap X99 mobo & cpu bundle from AliExpress (my first-ever purchase from them). The CPU is interesting. It’s an old 12-core xeon server processor. The bundle didn’t include a cooler but I found one on Newegg for $20. I bought 32GB of DDR4 ECC RAM for $30 on eBay. So all together I’m out $90 plus tax. I already had a case, power supply, and 512GB SSD. So far I’m satisfied with my cheap Linux machine. It runs VirtualBox like a champ!

Got yet another laptop. China exclusive Xiaoxin 14 Pro AMD. If it were released worldwide, it’s just the IdeaPad 14 Pro Slim 7i AMD. They have the Slim 7 AMD worldwide, and the Slim 7i Intel worldwide, but never released the 7i AMD. So bought it from China because that’s the one I wanna play with!!!
7840HS/32GB LPDDR5x/1TB (replaced with 2TB)/AMD RZ608 (replaced with AMD RZ616)/2.8K OLED.
Yeah, I skinned the top literally as soon as I verified the hardware was good.

I admittedly don’t really understand the obsession with skinning them, but I’m truly envious of your ever revolving hardware.

2 reasons.
The first, and more realistic reason for me is that I HATE black, grey, and silver as colors on laptops. They bore me beyond death. I need colors!!!
The second reason is that it protects it from getting scratched up and makes it easy to clean of fingerprints. Thus keeping it working at it’s TIP TOP for longer.

Well, that pretty much removes something like 100% of all laptops pretty much hahahaha. I can see why that would bring you to do this, as your selection otherwise would be very poor.

I personally like thinkpad black. It’s my favorite color. Like my heart and soul.

I’m just kidding I don’t have either of those things.

I actually find ThinkPads to be possibly the ugliest laptops in the history of mankind stock. I find them utterly revolting to look at. But throw a colorful skin on them, and then
oh
that’s a different answer!!!

Wooo, that keyboard is DEFINITELY an IdeaPad keyboard. No way that’s getting mistaken for a ThinkPad, Latitude, or any keyboard that’s got any quality feel to it!!!

Asus has a bigger range of colors for their units. You probably don’t need to reskin those. Just pick a color and search the internet. Ex: “asus blue laptop”, or “asus orange laptop”.
Quality wise I think they’d still feel better than IdeaPads, as IdeaPads really feel cheap.

Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s. It’s smaller than my previous full size wireless Logitech keyboard that this replaced. Hoping my hands can get used to it.

I finally found “my” headphones  I can’t hear enough for the third day
But what I am “not satisfied with” is almost all Sennheiser - pay attention to the middle and the bass

Sadly I wont be able to use it as I hoped, thus I wouldn’t be able to give an adequate opinion on how I get on with it. As I’ve said previously, it’s smaller, and in my case, I planned to use this in a recliner on my lap. It being significantly smaller it doesn’t sit right. I’d say my previous full size keyboard will get more use.

The Pebble Keys 2 K380s built well, and is fun to use and nice to look at, and the key presses are noticeably better compared to my older full size keyboard that is a K360. Sorry, I wish I could be of more help.

I treated myself to a single-walled portafilter with a double spout and a tamper for my espresso machine.

As a hobby barista, I can now say that you are invited to enjoy a tasty espresso :coffee:
