Still stuck in River of Void. Story of my life.
just update my last EndeavourOS install. ( needed space for other projects )
@fbodymechanic i liked your Linux Mint wall . i try create EOS ARM theme one .
Xfce4 ( simple,fast,lite )
I can’t take credit for it, that’s one of their stock wallpapers. The Mint team does a damn good job all around. I’m impressed for sure. <3 the xfce and dare I say - I actually like the EOS Arm colors better than stock.
I got myself a little CPU today, It’s not ARM, but it’s going to be a lot of fun. Pics coming soon.
custom wallapper I created using GIMP. I essentially slapped an EndeavourOS Logo on a wallpaper I found I the net. I still need to upload all my EndeavourOS wallappaer creations to a image hosting site. I really need to get to that and I truly hope I do but for tonight I am just taking it easy with my doggy.
that looks awesome. xfce is sleak asf imo. looks good. i like the red of arm as well. i honestly have no idea what arm is though but that is okay. i just recently reinstalled EndeavourOS so i want to setup a xfce de as well on this machine again just because it is awesome. i like both kde and xfce tbh. anyway have a good night, just thought i would let you know i think it looks good. tomorrow i am gonna go into xfce and start customizing it. Linux is fun.
i like the cow… dumb question what de is that? or is it a window manager? i don’t recognize it. definitely adheres to k.i.s.s.
It’s just good old i3wm
P.S. I dig the wallpaper you made you mind dropping a download?
This is my XFCE setup (for now) on my Dell Rugged laptop.
I was trying to go for a 1950’s era military kind of feel as represented in the old scifi movies of the time. I would prefer an olive drab icon theme, but haven’t been able to find one yet. I am also not sure how to change the color scheme in kitty. I am still getting used to configuring XFCE as I have been using KDE for, well almost ever minus about a 2 year sting on OpenBox when I was using BunsenLabs many years ago.
Edit the wallpaper is one I had a random AI generate for me.
Wallpaper -
it looks awesome i3 that is (never tried it, maybe I will, probably sometime soon if I get to it)
I am glad you liked my wallpaper I created purple friend!
Also here i made some more you can find on this forum: Purple wallpaper late at night no sleep
I need to upload this to a image hosting site as well. Others have mentioned this. I will try to do that tomorrow… I am sorta lazy and wish I wasn’t. Tomorrow is my goal though.
@temetka AWESOME setup as well. Honestly, I like it!
@anon91115920 Xfce is def worth try. Tiles real nice ( better imo than others)

My current EOS desktop. Changed icons from Uos to Tela, tweaked Kitty config, changed app menu to Kickoff Menu Concept, experimenting with the linux 6.12.11-x64v2-xanmod1-1
kernel, new wallpaper.
The Red/White variant is for EndeavourOS ARM.
thanks. is it in pacman extra?
No idea. I have the logos on my PC for wallpaper creation. I got them from here:
