There are still a few quirks that need to be worked out, but so far I really like it. It has a lot of potential.

Little offtopic but what do you use login manager in Wayland?

I use sddm-git because the regular version gives issues.

I’m actually and somewhat surprisingly using lightdm without any issues. I’ve read posts that claim lightdm doesn’t work with it…

What kind of bugs did you encounter until now ?

Well, the biggest issue so far was this:

I also had some strange issue with ROFI where it intermittently worked. To remedy, I installed and switched over to WOFI. I think this may have been due to previously using ROFI with BSPWM.

I’m also having issues with my VPN connection - basically it doesn’t work at the moment. So, my general review is that the WM is really cool and fun to play around in, but some of the primary functionality is still wonky.

For rofi you need to use this package for wayland.

aur/rofi-lbonn-wayland-git this works fine for me, i did hear wofi has some issues with multiple monitors.
I don’t use btrfs on the moment, because i have a separate home drive for easy switching to different distro if i want and nice the have my home directory already, i did play with btrfs a year back or so but did found browsing a bit slow for some reason.

And yeah hyprland is how can say real bleeding edge still.
For example last week there came a new update ( git package ) and i could not login and had to comple two packages from source to make it work again the packages. I needed libliftoff and libdisplay-info. both where not flagged by hyprland and did not included in the update.

On the moment i find myself more in hyprland than in bspwm for some reason.
Sound strange but bspwm just works it is to stable for me.

Looks awesome. Nice work!

Thanks was a easy job did take me almost 10 minutes or less.

Awesome work!

thanks

Ten minutes for the ASCII art?! I wish I were a darned good artist like that.

hyprland is in AUR only right?

Damn, this is so hot

You should maintain all Eos WM , and include your themes like for example Archcraft has .

To help all newbies who are not familiar with modding :stuck_out_tongue:
