How it is?
Any visible benefits compared to dwm or xmonad ?

compiz?
No an effect on KDE. I cant remeber what its called but when u close a window it explodes. Itll definetly get annoying soon enough:) but it looked kinda nicw for now.
Desktop Effects – System Settings then under appearance i think its called “Fall Apart” ?
Yeh thank you its definetly something like that do you use it?
I was going to, but was afraid it would get old fast lmao.
Is exactly what it’s called. As for getting old most times after you just don’t really notice it.

good theme fit on everything
and no buttons at all >
how do you get all the tools colored in the same scheme? by changing all the configs or do you find a trick?
You have to do the work. The wallpaper is a screen shot from a video / song I was watching. The image caught my eye so I hit PRTSC
I built the rest around it. I used inkscape to pick the colors out and then had to edit all the config files. The GTK theme is from gnome look. The icons from AUR they have been around for a long time. The hardest part is converting hex values to rgba for rofi.
edit
if anyone wants any of the configs just ask.
Turned a photo into a wallpaper, again. Just can’t seem to find proper ultrawides and I like to keep them personal.
Your last post deserves to be commented on. Simply fantastic desktop.
me think someone hooked
it look great @BONK
yea i know that
there is not much documentation on colors for rofi.

Knock knock. Do you know the question Neo?

Back on the Endeavour Express
Better hide this background from the wifey… we got plants everywhere…
It’s great. Nothing other than being very similar to dwm and supporting my partner in Linux, Nate.
For the time being using compiz and cairo-dock (dual head - left monitor is primary workspace)
Summary

And a shot of my project - spread on maintaining a 15 year old VB6 application to a C# API for CRM/ERP integration running on Windows server and the beginning of a cross platform project using dotnet core 5 to consume the API built on Linux - hopefully getting the time to convert the API from .NET4.8 to dotnet core 5. Looking forward to see what the MAUI framework will do for cross platform GUI apps
