blackbox for windows

ah ok, i thought there was something interesting to learn like using linux stuff on win xp kernel.
I always liked windows xp and i still have one machine with it :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice to find a dark theme that’s not too dark, and also where the apps you use look good consistently. MaD works for me. Using the Delft icon set, and I’m using the Deepin Cursor.

Over the past 15 years several enthusiasts compiled BlackBox code to act as a shell to replace the standard Windows desktop. I’m using one called BBLean, although the version I’m using is over 10 years old. It’s a novelty for me because I use my Windows VM about once a year. There is a website available that offers a lot of information: http://blackbox4windows.com/

I know, but their images of a day are so stunning that I can’t refuse to see them everyday. Not that I’m using it for searching, let duckduck and searx live forever!

Since I’m a fan of the space program, this is my background.

Hi ve9cbc. Nice one.

It reminded me that there was a NASA Space Shuttle “Endeavour”.

Awesome photos! :+1:

The Space shuttle program is what got me interested in the world space program. Actually watched Columbia lift off in 1981 live on TV (was only 7 years old). I’ve since gone back to watch Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Skylab. Which is the reason why I chose EndeavourOS.

Finally installed Endeavour full time, still dualbooting but I’m trying to experiment as much as I can to possibly change that.

So we keep our fingers crossed for it to - unlike the Space Shuttle - Endeavour has not be decommissioned
