Thank you!

I can’t take much credit though … apart from setting the global theme and modifying a few lines here and there …I’ve been testing the work of someone ‘porting’ the regolith-de to arch based systems.

Thanks for the reply. That behavior of dynamically showing a number of workspaces was what I was seeing as well, and it’s pretty annoying, but par for the course with a mash-up like that I guess. I might mess around with it some more to see if a different bar or anything like that works out better.

I was playing with my i3 setup. I was able to unify its look with pywal to some degree. Only firefox and ranger file preview is causing some issues but I will look at it some other time.

That looks really nice. I’ve played around with pywal but I’ve never been able to get a set of terminal colors that I could actually use. I think it may just be because I tend to favor muted colors in my wallpapers, so the terminal colors just come out too dull and similar to one another to be useful.

I have been working on a dwm build with Polybar. Still very much a WIP, but getting there slowly

It is highly dependend on the wallpaper you want to use. I have some good wallpaper but they produce only small differences in the color palette. One posibility is to use different backend for pywal. They produce quite different results even from the same image.

wal --backend

Backends:
 - wal
 - colorthief
 - haishoku
 - colorz
 - schemer2

I’m setting up the prime partners very early Christmas gift. It’s work in progress and a tad girlier wallpaper than mine.

The set up was a breeze this time with the Calamares installer. Besides ditching Balena Etcher witch did not work, it took 20 minutes tops.

…and the icons in the Latte Dock are a tad on the big side.
