Just made a few small tweaks—new wallpaper and removed the top bar, leaving only the system tray. I really love how the color scheme works with this wallpaper. I might actually keep it like this for more than a few days!
Wow that’s pretty neat. Beautiful. Very clear.
Welcome to the Purple side of things!
Very nice, my type of aesthetic.
Welcome @PackRat
Do I “know” you from a forum… far far away?
Do you “know” me or it’s just the same nickname?
Yes, we have crossed paths again.
No, wait… that was 48 years ago…
We did have a better sense of using screen estate, then…
(It’s yay -S open-adventure
, if you want to fall back in time.)
Hey, welcome PackRat (This is Dobbie here by the way).
Happily back on eos after screwing around with gentoo for almost a year (and finally admitting I was in way over my head). Running hyprland, my first time doing wayland full-time. It’s great to be back!
I just gave gBar a try. Looks sweet but super buggy on my system. Screen went black for 2 seconds every time I switched workspaces, wouldn’t let me get to some workspaces, and used a ton of RAM. I’m pretty lukewarm on waybar, so I’ll keep an eye on it to see if it gets more polished.
Dobbieeee
I was thinking about your shots here “simple, elegant… the new linux generation is ”
And it is, but the old is something else
Hey @fog , funny I was thinking the same about yours
psmem | grep -i gBar ✘ INT 6m 50s 09:50:27
42.4 MiB + 4.3 MiB = 46.7 MiB gBar
Memory usage if OK here…
