Setting paccache.time options manually?

I can’t find it anywhere… or I am blind. If I want to set the paccache.timer options manually (instead of thru the welcome app), what file do I edit?

It depends what you want to change.

If you want to change the frequency it runs, you modify the systemd timer.

If you want to change the options being passed, you modify the service.

In either case, you can do that in two ways.
Option 1: Use systemctl edit

sudo systemctl edit paccache.service

Option 2: Override the service

sudo cp /usr/lib/systemd/system/paccache.service /etc/systemd/system/.

Then edit the file /etc/systemd/system/paccache.service with your preferred text editor.

You should more or less never modify /usr/lib/systemd/system/paccache.service directly.

Thank you.
In the end I opted for option number 3: Disable the service and put in paccache cleaning in my update alias
