Set default graphics to Intel

I am in possession of an Asus laptop with Intel and Nvidia MX330 graphics. The Intel one is plenty for my use case and I don’t want to have the Nvidia loaded up in any shape or form, like it didn’t exist.

I installed the standard system, without the Nvidia stuff, and now after login in it goes to a black screen and tries to load nouveau drivers but it looks up it seems.

Isn’t there a systemd-boot parameter to have the system trigger only the Intel graphics?

Can I reinstall and deselect any packages related to Nvidia nouveau?

If you’re already at the point of a reinstall check your BIOS settings first - you should be able to disable the discrete card entirely, and then any subsequent installs should just ignore it because they won’t be able to see it

I don’t think there’s a section in the UEFI for that, even if there were, I’m dual booting this laptop, it’s my brothers and he’s on Windows, and I wouldn’t like to constantly flick that toggle.
