Second monitor not detected

Hey everyone!
I just got my second monitor and I was pretty excited to finally set it up, one is connected to DP1 the other should me HDMI1, but the HDMI one doesn’t seem to be detected at all. I’m relatively new in troubleshooting these things, so I don’t really know what I could do about this.

Seem’s this error message is the culprit:
[drm:dc_link_detect_helper [amdgpu]] *ERROR* No EDID read

On the bugzilla thread there are some software solutions, but I’d just try a different cable + system update (and/ or LTS kernel). This seemed to fix the issue for some of the people over there.

Hopped into windows to check if it actually works, seems like it doesn’t!
I’ll definitely try a 2nd DP cable.

Alright, so I did absolutely nothing to solve this and now all of a sudden the second monitor works as well… okay then
